Wine & Cheese

Our favourite thing to do is drink wine and eat cheese so we thought we would share a nice cheesy appetizer to share with friends. Our favourite place to treat our selves to amazing cheese is from Haltwhistle Cheese Company.

Ingredients

  • Wheel of your favourite soft cheese such as brie or gorganzola or both if you really want to party
  • Baby potatoes
  • lemon
  • Asparagus spears
  • Baguette
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • Fresh thyme
  • Honey
  • Salt

Method

  • Pre heat oven to 375
  • Roast bulb of garlic
  • Roast baby potatoes with olive oil salt and pepper for about 40 min or until soft
  • Grill or roast asparagus
  • lemon zest and salt to taste on vegetables
  • Gently bake cheese for about 10 minutes
  • Garnish with thyme and drizzle with honey
  • Serve with baguette, veggies and garlic
